Piaget
169 New Bond Street
Swiss watchmaker and jeweller Piaget has been working to the moto “always do better than necessary” since 1874 and its New Bond Street store is no exception. The flagship boutique carries an extensive range of its exquisite timepieces, jewellery and high jewellery across two floors in an intimate, townhouse-like atmosphere. Decked in elegant black and cream with a sweeping staircase at the back of the store, it’s the perfect backdrop for their gems to sparkle. The clean lines and monochrome colours were combined to match the contemporary with timeless purity and a sense of ordered harmony.
Their watches are known for their ultra-thin movements and complications for an elegant style. The jewellery line was introduced in 1959 and garnered an instant celebrity following including Jackie Kennedy and Sophia Loren. The creative flair of the jewellery collection has lent itself to a number of artist collaborations, starting with Salvador Dalí in 1967.
Both collections are made in Switzerland at their “ateliers d’extraordinaire” combining the finest raw materials with master craftsmanship honed over centuries. To care for such exceptional creations, a number of services are offered as part of the customer experience. The in-boutique jewellery spa offers engraving, polishing and resizing for any Piaget gems in your possession. They recommend you send your watch for servicing every three to four years to ensure it lasts you a lifetime and beyond. Servicing and repairs can be arranged through the New Bond Street store to ensure your timepiece is in safe hands.
