We had enough time to go to a restaurant not far from the theatre in between shows. Thought the actors were all great. Don't understand how anyone can give it a bad review.
The theatre was smaller than expected so don't think many seats would have too much of a bad view. Theatre staff were friendly, especially the security before entering. Bars were nice and had a good selection of drinks. Would definitely recommend.

We had dress circle seats so understandably fantastic views - so worth the money spending more on seats for the experience. Be aware they do charge you for the cloak room!
Definitely enough time to grab food between the parts especially with McDonald’s across the road! A must see for die hard Harry Potter lovers like me.

The show was brilliant, acting was great and the story is genius. Stage craft and the costume effect were second to none.
Only thing I would advise is you prepare for a long day out and a lot of time in the theatre. We went in the peak of summer and the theatre was quite hot with air conditions, but overall it was totally worth it.

I understand the story contradicts a lot about the original franchise and a lot of the original characters are changed significantly and do things that go against their beliefs, however I was mainly watching for Albus and Scorpious, who are much loved characters. Big up to all the incredible actors and crew who work on this. Some of the costume changes happen in seconds! Crazy!

After watching both parts, I instantly booked it again for a rewatch the day after!!

It's not meant to be Harry Potter like the films - but a story set 20 years later with grown up issues of father son relationships and the legacy of defeating Voldemort. Choreography and staging was excellent and the cast cover a huge amount of dialogue and should be applauded. An excellent stage production. Book the stalls for a better experience. read less

For any Harry Potter fan this is a must see show! I can understand some of the reviews about leg room and impaired views, however I was fortunate enough to be 3 rows from the front with a brillant view, but it is something to consider when booking your seats.
I have to say the actor who played Scorpious Malfoy, did the role justice and would have to be my favorite character!

First I read some reviews and took the advise to book the best seats to enjoy it the most and I did. I had a cornerseat on the 3rd row and could still move my legs to the side and was very glad that I did book this seat.
The seats are a bit dated and small so for people with longer legs this is uncomfortable especially for a double play.

I was glad to see the usher of the Palace Theatre requested people opening mobile phones during the play to kindly put them away !I Well done! I find the distraction so annoying in the dark.

The play itself was fantastic and absolutely so definitely worth the money! Full of action ,emotion, laughter and in an amazing stageset! All the actors were incredible but the young actor playing Scorpius Malfoy stood out for me.
I would say the critics are right ; a 5 star play!!

The storyline, acting and effects were excellent. The theatre has a great frontage but the seats have not been updated for some time, crushed velvet, limited leg room and each show is just over 2.5 hours, somewhat stiff legs and sore backside at the end. Security were quick and efficenct hardly any queuing. We visited on a very warm day and the air con was struggling, we could take water in and top up for free from the bar area. No other food or drink allowed unless purchased in the theatre. Recommend leaving between the part and getting food and drink locally, Chinatown is only a 1 minute walk. read less
