Asprey
167 New Bond Street
Asprey on Bond Street is one of the largest luxury goods shops in the world. Home to British handmade jewellery, watches, silverware, china, crystal and leather goods, the store is as marvellous as every object it holds. The brand has a rich history going back to 1781 and the flagship boutique has been located at 167 New Bond Street since 1847.
The store is actually made up of several historical buildings that have been brought together under one grand atrium with a large staircase at the centre. Many of the original features of the listed buildings have been retained while the overall design feels thoroughly modern. Its unusual architectural setting is reason alone to plan a visit.
Each piece within the store is still handmade by their master craftsmen, who are hard at work on the top floor of the New Bond Street flagship. They also work on bespoke commissions for individuals or companies as part of their dedication to top level service. Appointments can be booked at the store to discuss your exact needs. They also offer engraving and embossing of their products to add a personal touch.
Asprey is no stranger to providing the best of the best, they’ve held a royal warrant for every British reigning monarch since Queen Victoria, who first granted one to them in 1862. Many foreign heads of state have also turned to Asprey for special gifts. Today, they make by appointment to Prince Charles as a jewellers, goldsmith and silversmith.
