Mrs Doubtfire the Musical
Shaftesbury Theatre
The Mrs Doubtfire Musical is based on the beloved film of the same name; this new comedy show follows the story of out-of-work actor Daniel Hillard, who will do anything to spend more time with his children after losing custody in a messy divorce. In a desperate attempt to stay in their lives, Daniel creates the alter ego of Scottish nanny Euphegenia Doubtfire. As his new character takes on a life of its own, Mrs. Doubtfire teaches Daniel more than he bargained for about how to be a father.
Direct from a sensational run in Manchester, where it played to sold-out crowds and standing ovations, Mrs. Doubtfire is ready to dazzle and delight London audiences. The show features a book by Karey Kirkpatrick and a score by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick. It is directed by Jerry Zaks with choreography by Lorin Latarro.
