Damiani
11 Old Bond Street
Few of Bond Street’s grand stores can claim to still be run by their founding family three generations later, but Damiani is one such gem. The Italian jewellery house continues to hand make everything under the watchful eye of siblings Silvia, Giorgio and Guido Damiani, grandchildren of founder Damiano Damiani.
Damiani jewellery is characterised by clean lines and simple shapes that let the precious gems they carefully source speak for themselves. The techniques and craft of what they do have been passed down through the family since the brand was established in 1924 and some of their master goldsmiths have worked for the brand for more than 50 years.
As well as their history, Damiani is incredibly proud of its Italian heritage. Hailing from the country’s jewellery capital, Valenza, they have been the recipient of the San Eglio statuette as one of the finest jewellers in the region. Damiano Damiani also designed jewellery for one of the country’s most famous royal family members, Queen Margherita.
The Old Bond Street store was opened in 2009 to join the many prestigious jewellery names on the luxury retail stretch and continue to fulfil their ambition of bringing Italian excellence to the rest of the world. A number of after-care services are available through the goldsmith. Sizing and name and date engraving are available on rings for free up to 90 days after purchasing. Additional paid services include rhodium plating, shining and cleaning and stone or pearl setting to ensure your jewellery is always in excellent condition.
