Bringing a touch of luxury to Oxford Street, Flannels opened on the famous shopping thoroughfare in 2019. The four-storey, 1672 square-metre concept store is a visually stunning space that took three years and £10 million to bring to life.
You won’t miss it for the giant digital screens that span three floors on the exterior which show a revolving line-up of work by up-and-coming artists, making it one of the world’s biggest permanent digital public art installations. Inside, the collections for women and men is made up of the hottest luxury brands of the moment including Gucci, Versace and Vetements as well as famous streetwear names including Stone Island, Off-White and Supreme. The ground floor houses shoes, bags and womenswear, while more ladies’ collections, jewellery and fragrance can be found in the basement. Luxury menswear sits on floor one with streetwear on two.
The second floor is also home to the store’s concept space which hosts unique experiences including DJ nights, art installations, pop-ups and events from brands. A personal styling service is also available on this floor offering either one-hour express styling appointments or a two-hour wardrobe refresh session with their in-house team.
Flannels was founded in Cheshire, UK, in 1976. The retailer has helped to bring luxury brands to cities and towns in the UK that didn’t have access to them before. The opening of the Oxford Street flagship was the first store in London for the brand, helping to establish it as one of the most exciting British luxury retailers and introducing it to an international crowd.
