Mappin & Webb
132 Regent Street
Regent Street is home to one of only two boutiques in London for historic British jeweller Mappin & Webb. Famed also for its silverware and its popularity with royalty, you’ll find the finest things money can afford in an opulent setting.
Founded in 1775 by Jonathan Mappin as a silversmiths based out of Sheffield, it grew a reputation for its luxury craftsmanship and the business was passed down through the family for generations. In 1860, one of Mappin’s great grandsons brought his brother-in-law into the company, adding “Webb” to the name. Together they expanded the brand overseas, gained a royal warrant to Queen Victoria and the Russian Imperial Household and provided goods for famous clients including Harry Houdini. Today the company holds a royal warrant to the Queen and the Prince of Wales and its master craftsman is keeper to the Crown Jewels.
Expect to be greeted at Mappin & Webb Regent Street by glittering chandeliers, plush cream carpets and navy velvet sofas to peruse the collections of jewellery, watches and homeware in luxe comfort. The boutique carries some of the most famous names in the field including Rolex, Cartier, Omega, Tag Heuer and Patek Philippe. Appointments with an advisor are available to book to discuss any special requests such as engagement rings or a special watch purchase. A number of services from engraving to cleaning and repairs are also available through the storied company. To create something truly special for someone just as unique, book in with their bespoke service.
