Massimo Dutti
156 Regent Street
Massimo Dutti, specialists in sophisticated style and casual tailoring, carries collections for men and women at the Regent Street branch. Both lines have a range of ready-to-wear, accessories and fragrances with an up-market focus. Whether you’re looking for some new workwear or effortless style for the weekends, Massimo Dutti has it covered across 10,000 square feet of shop floor split between two floors.
Founded in 1985, its popularity led to it being acquired by Spanish fashion giant Inditex in 1991, and it now joins its family of brands as the refined older sibling of Zara. Initially, a menswear brand focused on sharp tailoring at an affordable price point, Massimo Dutti introduced womenswear to the mix in 1995 for a feminine take on dandy dressing.
The interiors of this store reflect their “urban, sophisticated and effortless” collections with dark wood panel walls, marble flooring, leather seating and antique-look rugs which create a cosy environment to shop within. “Modern lines and classic details” in the store’s interiors have been inspired by the label’s signature aesthetic. Despite the luxury touches, most items cost less than £100, making elegant wear more accessible.
A personal tailoring service is available where you’ll have a suit made to the best fit for you by their tailors in Portugal. This isn’t a fully bespoke service but offers an affordable alternative and the option to add finishing touches, such as different pockets and buttons. You can also order a custom shirt to complete your made-to-measure ensemble.
