The UK might not be famed for its chocolate but this British brand takes quality seriously and is the only business in the country to use cocoa from its own plantation, the Rabot Estate in Saint Lucia. Hotel Chocolat started life as a mail order and ecommerce business, delivering chocolate through people’s letter boxes, but opened its first store in London in 2004, quickly becoming one of the UK’s favourite high street brands. They’ve since expanded to many more shopping locations around the world as well as opening restaurants, cafes, a cooking school and even an actual hotel near its plantation. The Regent Street store was opened in 2015 and is proud to be the brand’s first location in the West End.
