Gant
184-186 Regent Street
The Gant flagship store on Regent Street comes inspired by its American east coast heritage, just like its collections. For the first time, you’ll find the full range under one roof at this location. In addition to the core line you’ll also find Gant Diamond G, its tailoring label, and Gant Rugger for leisurewear. The 7,800 square feet store has two floors of their signature Ivy league-inspired apparel to explore. The brand encompasses menswear, womenswear, kidswear and home collections as well.
Founded by Bernard Gantmacher in 1949 in New Haven, Connecticut, close to Yale University, it started life as a shirtmaker. Today, the brand lives by its motto of “never stop learning” and includes a full range of products inspired by its preppy roots including polo shirts, chinos, rugby shirts, blazers and hoodies. Its shirts remain a staple of the brand’s collections. Smart details like a locker loop, box pleat back for easy movement, button tab collar to keep a tie in place and “the perfect roll” to form a particular shape on the collar of button-down shirts have become their signatures and a promise of quality from the very start.
The Regent Street flagship is subtly inspired by its roots with wood panelling and polished brass finishings designed to look like those in the halls of Yale. Giving it a modern twist, screens throughout the store display the latest seasonal campaigns to inspire your look and a terminal allows customers to browse looks from the website in store with ease.
