From the red carpet to Regent Street, Stuart Weitzman delivers on glamorous footwear for well-heeled women. The flagship store, one of only two standalone outlets for the brand in the UK, was opened in 2016 and attended by A-list fans of the brand including Gigi Hadid, Amber Le Bon and Winnie Harlow. The 1,500 square-feet space is as glittering as the brand’s list of famous clients with gold and marble touches flitted about the glamorous boutique. In addition to a wide range of footwear, including boots, pumps, sandals, sneakers and a bridal collection, you’ll also find bags made with the same high quality leather craftsmanship.
Founder Stuart Weitzman came from a family of shoemakers, first designing footwear for the factory run by his father and brother in Massachusetts, America. In 1986, he founded his own-name label with a focus on the perfect balance between fashion, function and fit. His over-the-knee boots have become a style icon in their own right and his vertiginous strappy sandals are a go-to for movie premieres and award ceremonies, having been spotted on the likes of Emily Ratajkowski, Cate Blanchett, Priyanka Chopra and Lizzo in recent years. In 2015, the brand joined the family at Tapestry who own two other prestigious American labels on Regent Street: Kate Spade and Coach, which can be found next door. Though Weitzman retired as creative director of the business he founded in 2017, his legacy lives on through the brand and its vision of strong femininity.
