Regent Street is home to the largest global store for sportswear specialists ASICS. The three-floor space brings all of its brands under one roof meaning you’ll also find ranges from footwear labels Onitsuka Tiger and ASICS Tiger and equipment from Haglöf, as well as ASICS’ core range of athleticwear, shoes and equipment for men, women and children.
ASICS has been spreading its message of “a sound mind in a sound body” since it was founded in the 1940s by Kihachiro Onitsuka. The name ASICS is an acronym of that phrase in Latin: Anima Sana In Corpore Sano. The Regent Street flagship embodies this through its juice bar, a hydroponic live plant canopy and a DJ booth to boost your mood alongside high-tech features to help you find the right products for your sporting activities. Digital screens throughout the store will help you find more information about products, their robot delivery service will bring you shoes to try on and the Motion ID room uses computer technology to assess your gait when you run on a treadmill to help you find the perfect pair of trainers.
Whether you’re into running, tennis, rugby, netball or squash, ASICS has all the gear, optimised by technology conducted at their institute for sports science in Kobe, Japan. Speak to a sales assistant in store to hear more about their trademarked technologies which can assist you with better comfort, efficient energy use when running, better visibility during night time exercise and more.
