MJ first debuted on Broadway in 2022, where it has been a major commercial success. The show has broken numerous box office records, becoming the most successful musical to have ever played at the Neil Simon Theatre in New York City. The show is often sold out on the Great White Way, and it shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon. It is likely to have similar success in the West End, with tickets already selling fast ahead of its 2024 debut.

In the lead role of Michael Jackson is Myles Frost, who previously originated the role on Broadway. Frost’s life-like portrayal of the singer received rave reviews, and he ultimately received a Tony Award in recognition of his outstanding performance.
