Cats is Andrew Lloyd Webber’s record-breaking musical, based on T.S. Eliot’s “Old Possum’s Book of Practical Cats”, staged in a brand-new open-air production at Regent’s Park this summer. Once a year, the Jellicle cats gather for the Jellicle Ball, where their leader Old Deuteronomy will choose one cat to be reborn into a new life.
Directed and choreographed by the Open Air Theatre’s artistic director Drew McOnie, this production brings the much-loved score, including the classic “Memory”, to life under the open sky ahead of a major UK tour.
Cats plays a strictly limited summer season at Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre and is suitable for ages 5 and above.
