The greatest movie musical of all time dances back onto the London stage. Based on the classic MGM film, Singin’ in the Rain splashes into Sadler’s Wells for a strictly limited summer season from 2 June 2027, led by Strictly Come Dancing favourite Karen Hauer as silent-screen star Lina Lamont.
Hollywood, 1927. The movies are learning to talk, and dashing screen idol Don Lockwood must make the leap from silent films to “talkies” while falling for aspiring actress Kathy Selden and dodging the screeching tones of his glamorous co-star. With its unforgettable score, breathtaking tap routines and that legendary rain-soaked title number, it is two and a half hours of pure, feel-good joy.
