One Day The Musical is a new musical adaptation of David Nicholls’ bestselling novel, playing a strictly limited run at the Garrick Theatre, starring Jamie Muscato as Dexter Mayhew and Sharon Rose as Emma Morley.
Based on Nicholls’ 2009 novel and the Focus Features film, the musical follows Emma and Dexter after they meet on their graduation night on 15 July 1988. Every year on the same date, audiences catch up with the pair as their friendship evolves through love, heartbreak, ambition and life’s unexpected twists. Spanning two decades, the story explores missed chances, personal growth and the enduring connection between two people whose lives remain intertwined.
