Love’s Labour’s Lost is one of Shakespeare’s early comedies, in which the King of Navarre and three of his lords swear off the company of women to devote themselves to three years of study. Their vows collapse the moment the Princess of France and her three ladies arrive on a diplomatic mission, and the men fall headlong into love, desire and battles of wit.
This 2026 Globe staging, directed by Indiana Lown-Collins, reimagines the play through a flamenco-inspired lens, weaving Spanish song and dance through the courtship and wordplay, performed by a company that includes live flamenco artists.
Playing in the open-air Globe Theatre on Bankside, the production runs as part of the summer season from July to September 2026, and is suitable for all ages.
