About the show

Disney’s High School Musical on Stage! is a new production of the hit musical, marking 20 years since the original film became a global phenomenon. Set at East High, it follows Troy, Gabriella and their classmates as they navigate first love, friendship and self-discovery while juggling classes, basketball, auditions and the expectations of their peers.

Packed with the songs that made the film a sensation, including “Breaking Free”, “We’re All in This Together” and “Get’cha Head in the Game”, the staging transforms the auditorium into an immersive basketball court, with on-stage seating putting audiences at the heart of the action.

Frequently asked questions

Yes. It brings the East High story of Troy, Gabriella and their friends to the stage, packed with the songs that made the films a phenomenon, including 'Breaking Free', 'We're All in This Together' and 'Get'cha Head in the Game'. Fans of the films will be on very familiar ground.

It is recommended for ages six and up and is squarely a family show, bright, energetic and full of singalong numbers. It is ideal for younger fans of the films and the grown-ups who grew up with them.

The auditorium is transformed into a basketball court, with some seating on the stage itself, putting the audience right in the middle of East High. It is designed to make you feel part of the action rather than watching from a distance.

It is the most immersive way to see the show, placing you within the set as the action happens around you, though a traditional seat gives a fuller, more standard view of the whole stage. Which suits you depends on whether you want to be in the thick of it or take it all in.

It plays at the Troubadour Wembley Park Theatre, a short walk from Wembley Park station, in a flexible space set up as the basketball court. You can compare the on-stage and standard seating options when you book above.
