Jesus Christ Superstar Tickets

The rock opera that changed musical theatre - reborn.

From £100

About the show

One of the most electrifying rock operas ever written returns to the West End for the summer. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice’s Jesus Christ Superstar arrives at the London Palladium in the Olivier Award-winning Regent’s Park Open Air Theatre production - directed by Tim Sheader, choreographed by Drew McOnie and designed by Tom Scutt - for a strictly limited 11-week season with a 19-piece live orchestra.

Told through the eyes of Judas Iscariot, the show follows the final days of Jesus Christ, questioning faith, fame and betrayal against a soaring score that includes “Gethsemane,” “I Don’t Know How to Love Him” and the title anthem “Superstar.” First staged in Regent’s Park in 2016, this acclaimed staging won the Olivier Award for Best Musical Revival.

Leading the company is Eurovision star Sam Ryder, making his stage debut in the title role, with Olivier-nominated Tyrone Huntley returning as Judas, Desmonda Cathabel as Mary Magdalene and David Thaxton as Pontius Pilate. And in a thrilling twist, five different stars - Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Richard Armitage, Boy George, Layton Williams and Julian Clary - share the showstopping role of King Herod across the run.
