About the show

Aaron Sorkin’s acclaimed adaptation of Harper Lee’s Pulitzer Prize-winning masterpiece To Kill a Mockingbird returns to the West End for a strictly limited season at Wyndham’s Theatre, directed by Tony Award winner Bartlett Sher and starring Richard Coyle as Atticus Finch.

Set in Alabama in 1934, the play tells the story of small-town lawyer Atticus Finch, who agrees to defend Tom Robinson, a black man falsely accused of a terrible crime - and in doing so forces his community, and his children Scout and Jem, to confront the prejudice at the heart of their town. Sorkin’s blistering, urgent adaptation reframes this timeless story for our own divided times.

One of the most successful American plays in Broadway history, this landmark production is a powerful, moving and surprisingly funny piece of theatre about courage, conscience and the loss of innocence. Don’t miss your chance to see it in London. Book your tickets now.
