Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Starlight Express is back — and more spectacular than ever. One of the most beloved musicals in West End history, seen by more than 20 million people worldwide, it returns in a dazzling new production that reimagines the show for a purpose-built venue designed entirely around it.

The story is simple and thrilling: a child’s train set magically comes to life, and the engines race to become the fastest in the world. Rusty, a humble steam train, has little chance against his diesel and electric rivals — until he is inspired by the legend of the Starlight Express. It is a story about believing in yourself, told at extraordinary speed, with an electrifying cast of 40 performers on roller skates whizzing around and above the audience.

“Electrifying, exhilarating and utterly unique — Starlight Express is the West End spectacle of the year.”

With music by Andrew Lloyd Webber and lyrics by Richard Stilgoe, the score is packed with beloved songs — from the anthemic title track to AC/DC, Make Up My Heart and Light at the End of the Tunnel. Director Luke Sheppard and his extraordinary creative team have created something entirely immersive: audiences are surrounded by the action on all sides, placing them at the very heart of the race.

Whether you saw the original and want to relive the magic, or are discovering it for the first time, Starlight Express is an electrifying experience for all ages. Get your skates on — book your tickets today.
