He's the ghost with the most. And after years of anticipation, Beetlejuice is finally coming to the West End. Based on Tim Burton's beloved 1988 cult classic, Beetlejuice The Musical is a gleefully unhinged comedy about death, grief, and what happens when a deranged, millennia-old demon gets involved in your family drama. It's chaotic, irreverent, and utterly unlike anything else in the West End.

The show follows Lydia Deetz — a sharp, strange teenager who is still reeling from the loss of her mother — as she moves into a new house with her oblivious father and discovers she can communicate with the dead. When she encounters the recently deceased couple Adam and Barbara Maitland, and summons the anarchic demon Beetlejuice to help rid their home of the living, things spiral wildly out of control.

"Bold, funny and totally chaotic — Beetlejuice is one of the most inventive, outrageous and exhilarating musicals to hit Broadway in years."

What makes Beetlejuice The Musical so extraordinary is the combination of scale and specificity. Eddie Perfect's score moves from gothic comedy to genuine emotional devastation and back again, often within the same song. Scott Brown and Anthony King's book builds on the film's premise while carving out something richer and stranger — a story about grief and belonging dressed up in stripes and practical effects.

Tony Award-winning director Alex Timbers — the mind behind Moulin Rouge! The Musical — brings the same maximalist energy here, with a design team to match. David Korins's sets, William Ivey Long's costumes, and Michael Curry's extraordinary puppetry combine to create a world that feels genuinely supernatural. The production has played to rapturous audiences on Broadway, on tour across the USA, and internationally in Japan, Australia and beyond. Now, at the Prince Edward Theatre — one of the West End's grandest stages — it finally arrives in London.

Olivier Award-nominated David Fynn leads the West End company in the title role, with further casting to be announced. This is a strictly limited season: say his name three times and book before it's too late.
