Arthur Miller’s ALL MY SONS is his first and most abiding hit play, and begins performances at London’s Wyndham’s Theatre on 14 November.
This November it returns to the West End in a new production from visionary director Ivo Van Hove (A View from the Bridge, All My Sons), who reunites with Bryan Cranston (Breaking Bad, Network) alongside Marianne Jean-Baptiste (Hard Truths, The Amen Corner) and Paapa Essiedu (I May Destroy You, Death of England: Delroy).
Respected, self-made businessman Joe (Bryan Cranston) prides himself on providing for his wife and their two sons.
While wartime delivers profits for the family, it comes at a price when his partner is charged with criminal manufacturing deals, and his eldest son goes missing in action.
Peacetime brings little peace of mind as Joe’s true involvement in the activity begins to surface, and he is suddenly confronted by the consequences of his actions.
Arthur Miller skewers the dishonest promise of the American Dream in this disturbingly prescient play.
