When Apple opened in Covent Garden in 2010, it was their 300th store and the biggest in the world. The buzz around the store has not waivered, with tech fans regularly queueing up outside for new product launches.
Three hundred staff are employed at the store, ready to assist you with the purchasing of iPhones, iPads, and Macs across four floors. Apple stores act as a service centre too and you can book into the Genius Bar to discuss any problems or repairs needed to your devices. A few walk-up slots are available. The staff can also assist you with setting up your device and discuss the benefits of using Apple products in the workplace with their business team. Additionally, there are many tutorials and workshops held throughout the day to help you get to grips with the basics, like using your iPad most effectively, to more complex tasks like video editing. Conveniently, you can pick up your online orders at the store through their Click & Collect service.
Youngsters are encouraged to channel their imagination and build new skills at the store as well with a programme of events during school holidays that will teach them the basics of coding, or creating characters and music, using Apple gadgets. Their fun ‘Kids Hour’ activities on the programme of daily events at the store are always popular, as are trips for school groups who come in for a hands-on experience at the store to see inside the world of one of the most famous technology brands in the world.
