Adding to the line-up of Regent Street’s many flagships, you’ll find the biggest Superdry store in the world here. Offering up their take on American casualwear fused with British and Japanese influences, there’s plenty for men and women. Well known for their practical outerwear with a fashionable edge, you’ll also find a full ready-to-wear line, accessories and shoes at this branch. The different sub brands housed within the store cater to every facet of your wardrobe from the sportswear line to Cult Studios, which offers a premium line of casualwear in luxe fabrics, and SDX which takes inspiration from cool, youthful looks straight from the streets of Shibuya.

The massive, four-storey flagship is decked out with a rugged, industrial vibe. Walk under the orange flag with the brand’s instantly recognisable English and Japanese logo and you’ll enter a dimly lit warehouse setting with stripped wood floors, steel metalwork and vintage details such as the marine search lights which were repurposed from Suez Canal boats and a 1930s railway carriage chassis.

Founded in Cheltenham, UK, in 1985, the brand started life as a small chain of stores specialising in vintage-inspired clothing. Founder Julien Dunkerton then met James Holder, the creator of Bench clothing, and they partnered on a new line of clothes to be sold in the store. Combining Julien’s passion for quality clothes with vintage washes and James’ knack for interesting graphics, the success of this label transformed the small business into a global brand that’s loved by people from all walks of life today.
