Department store Debenhams has created their biggest and best ever store on Oxford Street. Across seven floors, five of which are dedicated to fashion, they have created a fresh destination for high street shopping under one roof. The beauty hall is their biggest ever, and a chic new shoe hall has also been added in a recent refurb.
The store carries popular brands for women, men, and children including Wrangler, Clarks, G-Star, Lipsy, and Monsoon, as well as their exclusive designer ranges with star names John Rocha, Julien MacDonald, Matthew Williamson, Henry Holland, Jasper Conran and many more.
With a rich heritage, starting in London’s West End and dating all the way back to 1778, they started life as a drapery company specialising in fabrics, bonnets, gloves, and parasols for widows. It has now become one of Britain’s great retail success stories.
Customers are drawn through Debenhams’ doors for much more than just shopping too. With a brow bar, tanning and waxing bar, Clarins Skin Spa, Elemis Spa, Nails Inc. bar, and Regis Hair and Beauty service, you can leave feeling preened and pampered. Other services include personal shopping, bra fitting, a mother and baby room, bureau de change, and a Virgin Holidays concession. Free WiFi is available throughout the store as well.
If you find yourself peckish whilst in the store, there are four dining areas, sure to suit whatever you’re in the mood for. Coffee on the ground floor provides a quick snack or caffeine fix, or for a more relaxing sit down with a hot drink, their contemporary café on level 2 is what you’re looking for. For more formal dining, the W1 Bistro serves wine, cocktails, and an upscale food menu, or alternatively the family restaurant offering British classics can be found on level 5.
